The willow made of steel for the Archive of the Future.

The mega project for the House of the Future in Lichtenfels is now complete. We were able to undertake the surface coating for the willow tree made of steel, a textured gold brass coating.

The welded, somewhat misshapen steel construction elements were pre-treated with stainless steel blasting media in our new blasting cabin, then primed and given a long-lasting corrosion protection optimised for outdoor use. The textured gold-brass surface was then applied.

The project has been with us for over a year now and it was once again a challenge for us in terms of logistics, time management and surface technology. Nevertheless, we are of course pleased that our project partner, Gföllner Fahrzeugbau und Containertechnik GmbH, was extremely satisfied with our performance and wrote a letter of reference.
